The mistress who softly spoken father-of-two Chris Watts murdered his family to be with is back in touch with him, three years after changing her identity and disappearing, the killer has claimed from jail.
Watts – who along with wife Shanann and their daughters Celeste, 3, and Bella, 4, were the subject of last year s chilling Netflix documentary American Murder: The Family Next Door – was convicted of murdering his pregnant wife and their daughters because he wanted to start a new life with his mistress, Nichol Kessinger.
United Air to restart pilot hiring in new sign of travel rebound

United Airlines Holdings Inc. will resume pilot hiring as the carrier sees signs of a sales recovery amid expanding U.S. vaccination campaigns.
The carrier will begin with 300 pilots who received a conditional job offer last year or had a new-hire class that was canceled, Bryan Quigley, senior vice president of flight operations, told employees Thursday. The decision followed a year in which airlines slashed payrolls through retirement and voluntary leave offers while depending on billions of dollars in federal payroll aid.
The need for new pilots stems from vaccination rates increasing and travel demand trending upwards,” Quigley said in a memo. Whether United continues adding pilots will depend on further recovery from the collapse in demand caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
While the new law was supposed to be reviewed five years after it was put in place, that still has not happened.
And the Trudeau Liberals, despite promising to repeal the law during the 2015 election campaign, have left the Harper-era law in place.
The constitutional challenge announced this week calls for the court to strike down sex work law prohibitions against impeding traffic, public communication, purchasing, materially benefiting, recruiting and advertising sexual services.
The alliance is arguing those Criminal Code prohibitions “violate sex workers’ constitutional rights to security, autonomy, life, liberty, free expression, free association and equality.”
The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted how sex workers are shut out of many parts of society. Sex workers have seen their incomes drop but haven’t been able to collect income replacement benefits like the Canada Emergency Response Benefit because their work is illegal.
